6/12/2025 – Our 17th Anniversary Tournament had some unexpected guests! Matt Guy and his son Bret dropped in from Alexandria, KY. Matt is a repeat world champion player in singles and doubles with his son. https://www.cornholeaddicts.com/cornhole-pros/matt-guy/ He has thrown 72 bags in a row in the hole – in competition! He is also a member of the Northern KY Athletic Hall of Fame for cornhole, only in Kentucky!

Unfortunately, they decided not to compete with us in our tournament. They may have noticed our skill level and were either scared or disappointed, but they did give us a little pre-tourney exhibition and some autographs.

We had 7 well balanced teams that all competed to a very close finish. Mike and Steve came back from the loser’s bracket to ultimately be defeated by Bill and Muff in the second round of the finals. Two in a row for Muff (rising star)!

Besides the customary prizes of Bourbon, the winners also received autographed bags from Matt & Bret! Very cool!

We also handed out new black and white, retro 3/4 sleeve T shirts for everyone. Thanks to Hens for the cool design.
