1/30/25 We had a rainy Thursday in January and could not play outside, so Mike Kessling invited us to his house to have some fun with his new golf simulator. This setup was amazing and was a lot more fun that anyone imagined. Of course, Mike got the best scores, and yours truly had the lowest scores. But the real surprise was Jack! Sleeper. Thanks, Mike, that was a hoot. I hope you don’t find Billy down there at 3 am some night claiming it’s rehab.
11/9/24 Eric organized a fun Saturday at Elk Creek Hunt Club shooting clays. We had a great time killing lots of orange, clay pigeons- poor things. Eric, Steve, and Zach supplied the guns and the rest of us inexperienced shooters supplied the comedic relief, embarrassment, and frustration. Zach did a nice job of coaching us newbies! Steve supplied a few hunting vests and a little bravado – thanks Dad!
We did 12 stations, 100 shots total. Scores:

Dec 5, 2019 – our annual Christmas Beer Exchange and Cornhole Spectacular was held in the JLC Corn-dome in Wilder. We had the usual tasty appetizers, funky Christmas beer and whiskey. Our 7 1/2 team double elimination tournament was won by Dirc and Billy. Runners up were Wally and Dan. Special Yasiel Puig Mother’s day bats were provided by Mark Goetz. Very cool ! Thanks Mark. Peculiar music was provided by Steve Miller and Nick.
A special senior men’s singles competition was initiated late in the evening with George beating the crap out of Tommy 3 games to 0. No prize was awarded. Just satisfaction.
